I don't know. Any company that has the juevos to advertise that they have a snack rack "for when ya get the munchies" is pretty awesome. Most places don't usually seem to blatently pander to stoners like that.VDub26Falcon wrote:even if SS6 does have the worst commercial known to man!

I can't believe you all aren't giving Mr. Spots more love. Great Philly Cheese Steak.
If there is any CD you ever wanted, hit up Finder's Records and CDs, I love coming back to BG just to sift through everything that they have.
DO NOT EAT at SAMBs - use to be my favorite restaurant, now, not so much.
Live Band - Why not check out the Pourhouse.

Wow, unfortunately I wont be making the trip up for Minny due to buying a new car in a week or so, and trying not to be broke from or before it. However, when I make it back for homecoming I'm going to have to bring like $100 just to get the SS6, Myle's, Spots, DiBee's, Trotter's, and etc. marathon complete.
Eating Ramen for lunch at work is also really killing me today...
edit for spot's love. GO FOR THE FIRESTEAK.

Having never been to Philly I can say unequivocally that Mr. Spots is the best I've had. Again, never been to Philly for the real thing, but of all the impostors available, Spots is far & away the best.1987alum wrote:Great? As a Philly-area resident, I'll say maybe not great. Spots is a nice choice, but it;s only good in the absence of anything better, as far as steaks are concerned.
There are 3 places within 10 minutes of where I work that have a better cheese steak than Mr. Spots, and that's not even touching the real thing. Not that it isn't the best in BG, it's that it's merely better-than-average in the grand scheme.

Roll Along!
I think the best thing about Spot's is their fleet of cars that deliver cold beverages in a jiffy. The food is a nice late night bonus.Jacobs4Heisman wrote:Spots is a nice choice, but it;s only good in the absence of anything better, as far as steaks are concerned.
