thank you for finding this article.

thank you so very much!

thank you thank you thank you!!

:D

Yep- you post that on the Broncos wall and they'll come in raging...well, maybe not. Do you think that this stuff really jacks up a team? Never did for me and over the course of the year every team has somebody who says something about every other team they play that could be used for bulletin board material. I think people who never played thinks that stuff motivates athletes but I think their motivation is internal- if its not they aren't very good anyway.
from the team's perspective, it doesn't hurt to have bulletin-board material. but you're right--the boise state coaches know how to motivate a team without outside influence, so i'm sure they'll be ready.

but the reason i was glad to find this is because our fanbase has been a little apathetic regarding this game. from a fan interest standpoint, this article injected a little more intrigue into the matchup, which is primarily why i was pleased to see the quotes from the toledo players to help stoke the fire and debate.

What? You were having trouble finding intrigue and suspense in the huge rematch against a team you beat 57-14? I don't understand that. ;-) If you'd like I could make up a bunch of stuff and post it on your board. :-D

We're definitely looking forward to having Boise at the Glass Bowl-stop by our site on the NCAAbbs and say hello(were you on there last year-we had a couple guys who stopped by). If you're coming out let us know-we'll give you the lowdown on the area, tailgating, etc!

Actually I'm shocked that Toledo fans are talking about a MAC championship. Usually they're talking about their (soon-to-be-extended) invite to the Big East and how they will rule the conference once they're in.

It would be beyond hilarious to try to watch Toledo's basketball team (worst in school history oh btw) win a game in the Big East. How badly do you suppose Syracuse, Uconn, Villanova, Pitt, Cincy, WV, et al would be blowing out the Rockets night after night?

I don't think the Rockets would break 40. Most of the Big East teams could lay 100 on them too.

I don't think we'd break forty or hold anyone to under 100 from the Big East either. Toledo is going to get better in bball their coach is pretty good. I say we are 5-7 or 4-8 next year looking at the schedule.

There is no one on our schedule that we can't beat but I'm hoping for 6-6 or better. I expect some serious improvements over last year.

Last crazy wide receiver to trash talk Boise was Christopher from Utah before the MAACO bowl. He called the Broncos Girlse State. He got zero receptions in the game.

Is that why Factman hates him so much?
