What I'm wondering is why we didn't go for the end zone on either of the two pass attempts right before the field goal attempt? That was dumb.

Well, interesting half. I knew the penalties would fly against Florida...always does..but your team had two really good drives and bodes well for you in the second half.

Wasn't Tyler Tate supposed to be a stud. I honestly thought he'd have the kicking job.

14-7 Florida at half.

Positives:
- Its 14-7! Can't be mad about that.
- Our pass defense has looked solid.
- Offense looks okay. Really hard to tell how good we are since Florida's defense is top notch and the crowd noise is really a factor. Love Burbrink already. Gallon looks solid, so does Stokes. Need to see more of Samuel, but that's a testament to Pettigrew's work in the offseason.

Negatives:
- Missed opportunity at the end of the half. Probably should have taken a knee and lined it up in the middle? Joplin dropped two passes that should have been completions.
- Run defense has to improve. Ran it down our throats on two drives. They're struggling throwing the ball.
- Offense got really stale for a few drives there. We need to throw something else at them - maybe Schilz under center or a trick play? Something to throw their defense off guard.

We got ourselves a game folks. This is going to be a nail biter I think. We have a very good chance if we can make adjustments at halftime.

Unless one of our QB's clue in, Florida needs to pound it now. I think we can eat up yards and time with our ground game.

Must say I disagree with anyone who says they ran the ball down our throats ... they tried that and it didnt work... now they are round AROUND us with sweeps this is something that is encouraging to me because that mean during MAC play when teams are slower this team will be able to stop the run... I think FLA with run pitch sweeps the rest of the game and tear us apart, dont get me wrong, but I dont think they will be able to do it up the middle Interior of the DL seems solid
