Offense on the other hand looks really good. Who said Johnson couldn't make deep throws? He looks great.

Great drive by Johnson. Need a hold and get into locker room and figure out how to stop their O!

I'm a huge Johnson fan. But I get that he doesn't have the arm strength of Schilz. We haven't gone deep. But we don't have to.

RE: the running back debate
I'm just happy to have that competition. I can see how it was a tough decision. Every back that has played has looked good. Even Hopgood. And we have two or three guys who haven't played (Levy, Martin, and Coppet - who played a little) who could all factor in. This is the most RB depth we've had in a long, long time.

The way the D is playing we may not go into halftime with the league though.

That back shoulder throw to Joplin a few drives back was very impressive.Globetrotter wrote:bgdodgeball4 wrote:Offense on the other hand looks really good. Who said Johnson couldn't make deep throws? He looks great.

Though to be honest, I'm not sure if that was a back shoulder throw or just an underthrow.

Re: Kent State Game Thread...
No QB controversy after this half.
Re: Greene - he had a huge hole on that run up the middle, but the cut back to drop the safety was something that none of the other backs have in their arsenal. Put his right foot in the ground and almost took it for 6.
