I don't think anyone believes that we're going to fire Clawson. There are a number of people...myself included...who think we've progressed as far as we will under him and that we should look elsewhere. I'd love to be proven wrong...I'd love to see us win the east. I have zero faith that we will.

Right...the question was whether Clawson would recognize the same things and choose to jump ship of his own accord. He's nothing if not honest and self-aware. He'd already stated that he doesn't know how to solve the slow starts. It's not that big of a leap to decide he's done all he could to rebuild the program and choose to make 400k somewhere else without the aggravation and baggage of 4 straight losses to your rival.

He's at BG for as long as he wants to be and the ball is in his court. Many (including myself) want to believe but the letdowns are making it really, really hard to do so.
