Granted, I'm biased.
I disagree, that logo looks like crap (so glad we got rid of it) and today so did we. With those helmets and that offense today, I felt like I was watching BG in Blackney's last year.
Perhaps if we had green helmets with an Ohio logo on them you would approve. We get it, you don't like the old logo. You're in the minority here, though, so get over it. Repeating yourself over and over isn't going to convince anyone that you're opinion is the only one that matters.
There's nothing for me to "get over." We had a logo that many people outside of those with BG ties couldn't recognize or didn't even know what it was. It was exactly what you don't want with a school logo/brand recognition. It defeated the actual purpose of the logo altogether. It was dated and look like something created on computer graphics from the 80s. Many non-BG people had no idea it was a falcon head. Some even thought it was the letters "LT." I actually own a lot of things that have that logo on it, but yes, it needed to go. And it did, whether that was my opinion on it or not. Clearly I'm not in the minority of those who like the new logo better which does a much better job clearly conveying who we are and what our mark is. And I don't think my opinion is the only one that matters, those are your words not mine. But it does carry the same weight as yours. Which isn't much.
GO BG!!!

If it had an 80's feel... then it was "futuristic" for a good decade or so... :D
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.
