I get they want more money from us. I understand why too. They want us to be season ticket holders and Falcon Club members. The reasoning isn't lost on me. But what does feel lost is the importance (or lack thereof) of being a season ticket holder anymore. What is the benefit of being a season ticket holder anymore over just buying single game tickets?? Up until three years ago it seemed it have meant a lot more. Now, it doesn't seem any different at all.
This is my main thing. What is the point anymore? I know others on the board have said how they gave up tickets and haven't missed it at all. I can go on StubHub and buy a ticket to the Memphis game for $10 or less, I will be able to get in and see the Toledo game on Tuesday night for probably 5 bucks, or less. In a day and age where I can watch the game from my couch, drinking a craft beer on my 65" TV and then have my whole day left. What exactly is BG giving me in return? A decent stadium with some amenities? No. Decent concessions? No. Easy tailgating and parking? No. A tremendous home team? No.
Maybe they have changes in store down the pike and BG football is still relatively cheap. But, man. You don't exactly get much bang for your buck.
