That was way too easy. Of all guys how do you not cover Sharpe??? Freddie Barnes' single game reception record might be in jeopardy today. Gotta get it back before the half now.

That could come back to haunt us. So many penalties on that drive then we get picked off. We have 8 penalties for 83 yards at the half. Totally unacceptable. UMass gets the ball to start the second half now.

Well, this is typical Bowling Green football, nothing more, nothing less. Great offense, 28 points on the board in the first half. Defense has made a few key stops in the red zone which is the difference in the game thus far. Defense and special teams are struggling as normal and penalties are mounting.

This is the reality we have. It's not a bad reality all things considered but I still contend that we can't win the conference with this combination of poor defending and poor on field discipline. It shouldn't bite us today unless the offense struggles in the 2nd half.

Game feels a ton like last year to me. It also has the same feeling as the Memphis game to me as we're leading by nearly the exact amount of points with the opponent getting the ball to start the second half.
