The Cuse version of"Falcon fast" is "Orange is the new fast". I don't know that I'd want my college football team to be associated with women in prison.

Pretty lame. I would've liked "The juice is worth the squeeze."

Is this serious? Does he come up with something lame everywhere he goes? I hope Syracuse fans like a blatant disregard for special teams and defense.

#orangeisthenewfast has shown up on Twitter...

So far as lameness goes..Dino had John Cena's theme music on some of his vids here.

Cena sucks....

The best part though was when he recruited the Toledo-bound QB to Wake.
Then the kid left Wake, went to EMU and quit football.

Using Cena's theme music for sports related stuff is so 2007...

Remember the whole Erie Prep flap when Babers was first hired? Looks like he's back to his old tricks and alienating more HS coaches:

The salient quote: "I'm not happy with the way it went down," Elgin said, "especially with the AD promising that all the commitments would be honored. … It wasn't a good conversation after that."

This seems to be the year where coaches are sticking it to players...and it isn't just new coaches. Harbaugh pulled a couple of offers at Michigan and he's shoving 5th year guys out the door right and left. Can't really blame them...the pressure is on them to win now. If it means crushing some kids world to keep a 7 figure gig...so be it. Gotta get your guys in place.

It's all part of the shittiness that college football has really devolved into. As the money has gotten more enormous the pressure/need to win has grown with it...especially at major programs like Michigan.

It's shady as all hell to run off your 5th years, but at the same time how can you blame a guy? He's gonna get canned if he doesn't build a winner right away and one of the biggest reasons why that program has been losing is the past 2 coaches have not recruited to a level commensurate with where Michigan should be in the national landscape.

It's why I follow BG, and will watch the big time games, but I find it very difficult to really "care" about the sport anymore. I don't know that there is a way to fix it...I don't even know that it hasn't always been this shady. Could just be another case of "it was always this way you just didn't hear about it as much." Dunno...

Clawson ran off some 5th year guys. The guys Harbaugh is pushing out have their degrees...he just doesn't have a use for them. I'm good with that. They have their degrees, the University kept their commitment...they need the spot for someone else to get started on their degree. A degree from UM means something. Hell...I want my daughter to go there to study music.

Dumping kids you have a months long commitment from isn't cricket. The DE from FL Rashad Weaver had his Michigan offer pulled yesterday...they offered him a grayshirt or a PWO. He said I'm nobody's second option...I'll go elsewhere and he bad mouthed no one in the process. Give me a kid with that kind of toughness and character every day

I guess I can blame him for wanting or being willing to do a job that forces you to do that. What bothers me the most is the people who say "we do it the right way here", or "our coach is different" and then condone this behavior. Happened here with Babers. We love you until you leave. Its like when a girl breaks up with you so you frame that relationship and her behavior negatively so that you feel better.

The more that comes out, the more I'm glad Babers moved on. Don't get me wrong, I am very thankful for him leading us to two MAC title games and a title but maybe he wasn't as good a guy as I originally believed. I don't like what I'm hearing lately.

This is nothing like some cornball jilted lover cliche....we were happy for Dino when he left. The negativity began when he trotted out the paper thin "won't recruit anyone who doesn't decommit" subterfuge. That ...coupled with the tampering accusation from a credible reporter...lead many of us to reconsider our thoughts on Dino's character. Had he left our recruits and players alone...I'd still be behind him 100%. Now I'm at 65-70%.

There hasn't been a word about it since it was reported by the credible reporter.
