That's the same number that I came up with. Not that it really matters but I read on an ESPN site as well as NCAA site that the early enrollees, the one that begin classes in January actually count against last year's recruiting class.
On paper, class ended up 3rd behind Toledo and Ball St.
I really like this group of guys. The staff did an excellent job addressing areas of need while building depth at other positions. Now it's up to the coaches to produce the results.
I think we're only behind Toledo and Ball State because they had more signees. Toledo is a little upset that they did not go after more linebackers a position of need. Ball State is upset that they didn't go after safeties and running backs. Doege is a great get. I like the tall and quick wide receivers we signed. I like the running backs. We went after offense and defensive lineman and they have great size. I think the best get maybe the 6'5 TE. They are comparing him to Gronkowski. That will be a nightmare for any defense.

Add Jamari Rouse to your count. He was the last to sign. Freeman and Parks are gone, one to Mid Tenn., other not sure. I' assuming Carolan, a LS, will be a preferred walk on.

I really like this class...has a distinct "restocking the shelves" feel to it. I really like the fact that both JUCO OL guys are three to play two so they can have a full year to get acclimated academically and learn the system before stepping in.
Jerry Roberts is going to leave a mark or two on somebody
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.
I'm pretty happy with this class too. I was hoping we could have snatched a steal late (last night or today) as there were a number of P5 decommits in the region recently that went to other MAC schools late (last night and today), and it seemed like we instead rounded out our class with some lower tier guys late in the process. However, the bulk of our class that we held onto prior looks pretty good on paper. Here's hoping to good grades, good health and good behavior by them all because we all know how extremely difficult it is to keep a class, or most of it, intact. Nice work coaches and welcome to BG to all the new recruits.
Blade says there's 11 preferrred walk ons lined up for the fall....one is Lamar WItcher from Springfield. You figure the LS Carolan may be another..probably a K or a P too. I hope this guy is one of them...
Flip, think you're right on this kid. Looks like a hitter on D. I'm assuming they didn't release names on the PWO's. But it would be nice to see. Sometimes the kids themselves release that info.

I don't think McCree signed anywhere. According to the high school website he was not one of the athlete to sign LOI. According to Scout BG had minimal interest. He did receive an offer from Ferris State but he hadn't signed there either.
