He tweeted this morning at 6:18am:
"Signing day is today at 1pm at Trotwood in the auditorium since school was canceled."

We were his only D1 offer? The staff must have seen something they think they can develop because he seems like a guy you'd get with a preferred walk on offer
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

I thought about this, too, but with his size and speed (4.56 according to his Hudl, but who knows how accurate those are), I can definitely see where a staff would see a lot of potential there. Also, it might be difficult to get a guy to come with a PWO when he has full scholarship opportunities elsewhere, regardless of the division.

D2 usually isn't a full ride...I think

His 247 page says he's unrated, but the bio posted on his page says he's the #45 recruit in MI with a *** rating. ??
He seems to be a bit of a mystery. Which means he's probably going to be all MAC. :)

Not yet. I'm following James Rider's twitter (Dayton sports anchor), who is covering it live. @JamesRRider

Hargrove if used right can be a Dri Archer type player. Could be an absolute impact player. He and Clair together in the backfield may be the best tandem in the MAC in a year or two.

I'm excited about this year's RB class, in general, not to mention already having an impact player like Clair. I think Frye is also going to be a force in the backfield during his time here.

Stage and Brooks are both *** on 247...they don't have a composite, but 247 puts them at ***. Stage is actually our highest rated recruit

This is true. Stage is our #6 recruit of all-time. And Brooks is #17.

In all, this class has 6 of BG's 21 highest ranked recruits ever. It's good enough for 3rd in the MAC, behind Toledo and Western Michigan.

I personally think they give out 3 stars a hell of a lot easier than they did a decade or 2 ago. I have no proof of this other than the eye test of players then and now.

Solid class. Now do something good with them. UT's legendary bowl performance shows that the top of the MAC is attainable and the bar can be raised back to previous levels.
