Might be good to stay away this football season.
Well, if you don't want anyone being critical (even if it's deserved) then yes -- stay away.
I don't mind people being critical, I'm critical myself, but every thread ends up hijacked with the same posts.

Does anyone know who hired the recently arrested swimming coach? Was it the same staff who hired Jans and Jinks?

You're right every thread dives into the program is a dumpster fire and we need to fire Jinks. There is no analysis, just the same thing spewed over and over. I remember during the down days of the Brandon years, this forum had discussion, now it's just trolling.

Being picked 5th in the East is about where we should be. We haven't proved anything the past two years, but I also feel there are some pieces in place to take some big steps forward. One, is we have a QB who showed somethings last year. If he continues to grow, we have got a shot in most games. Clare is a stud, and I am excited with another year in the program for him. Finally, I want to see what Pellini can do with the D. It can't get any worst, and if he can put in schemes that can get some 3 and outs, we again will have a punchers chance in any game.

For Crazyfan and guest44, we can't fire Jinks. We are not a cash machine like a Big 10 school, who can afford the payout and bring in the next lamb for the slaughter. Players screw up at every program. Guyton's actions were committed by Guyton. When he was arrested, he was quickly dismissed. Same with the other two recently. The issue I have is when a coach and program go out of their way to keep the players on the team. (Michigan State)

According to Jinks, Doege gained around 30 pounds. So long as it's not all Polleyeyes weight, that's a good sign. He looked too lean last year. He got hurt for a few weeks and that may have given the east to Akron. I'd have to think some more muscle could have prevented that injury.
One of my big concerns has been strength and conditioning. 30 pounds of muscle gain is a good sign.

It's incredibly hard ...if not impossible...to gain 30 lbs of muscle in a year. Unless you're juiced to the gills and I doubt that's the case here. But the added bulk will help him handle the hits, regardless what it's made of
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.
