Lachey is no longer on the roster. We still have 6 TE on the roster so no surprise if one or two leave or move to another position. We were recruiting his little brother so this does not bode well for that.

Sometimes guys will not be on the spring roster while they get their academics in order for fall...not saying that is necessarily true here, but it could be

I checked the previous years rosters but there is only one other Spring roster available. Last year, we had only 67 players listed on the 2018 Spring roster, in the fall we had 100. This year we have 80. Spring is always thin w/o graduating seniors and most Frosh not on campus yet. I had some spare time and looked back a few years. Hopefully this is readable.

I'm bored so here is some more boring stuff. Down to 74 on the roster. Only 2 of the incoming class, #14 Rogers, WR and #87 Carrol TE are on this roster. I assume a number of walk-ons will also show up this fall so we will end up with the usual 100 or nearabouts.

Does anyone know what's going on with Lachey. Would love to get his brother in Basketball and would be an incredible Football recruit if he decided he wanted to play 2 ways.

Don't know about James and his status with BG...but a fairly recent article has his brother, Luke, pondering about 20 offers for football, so I think it's unlikely he's gonna play basketball. He has a number of Big Ten offers, including Iowa and MSU, and Ohio State is still evaluating him and wanting to see him at a camp this summer. But judging by his offer list, it would seem basketball is on the back burner (really far back burner).
