If there's any way that money gets used for drugs, I'd be extraordinarily upset. Similar token, if players use money they would normally use for food, but don't have to due to Falcon Club contributions, on weed, I am distraught. Good for the administration getting this crap under control.
Good point. One way or another, that Is BG money going to the dope man ( or C- Corp). Hitting the pipe during the season is a disrespect to your teammates and coaches. Not like it isn’t frowned upon daily.... it tells everyone you don’t care. Your a high level athlete, not a skateboarder. Act like one.

If the rules say no weed -- then follow them. It doesn't matter what the rest of society or the world is doing.
Obviously, you guys are aware of some violations, I’m assuming are drug(pot?) related. Who was involved? Or does this violate “student rights”. Damn! This is plain stupid! Not to mention telling your teammates to go to hell!
Get rid of the violators IMO; they’re obviously not “ all in“ as Loeffler has inferred before.
Education our Challenge, Excellence our goal. (look it up)
Per Jordan Strack:
Multiple sources tell me as many as 16 BGSU football players have been disciplined for a failed drug test. Some are facing suspensions. The University won’t confirm the reason for the discipline or players names.
Wow ... 16? Happy to see Loeffler dropping the foot and cleaning up messes. How many of those were players Loeffler inherited and how many he recruited?
MarkL has spoken.
You may all now return to your daily lives.
Blame the previous staff, who got paid to blame the staff before them. That’s the BGSU athletic department in a nutshell. Just like with Chris Kingston, the acknowledgement of incompetence will come long after they are gone. No accountability while employed by BGSU. Embarrassment after embarrassment comes out of this program regardless who is the coach.
What does it matter which class they came from? So you can blame the previous coach. That’s Bowling Green Football.
A few years ago this board celebrated recruiting Texas as a hot bed for prospects. Now, the program needs “purged”
Massey being on the list is especially disappointing, to me. He had somewhat of a breakout game as a consistent performer against Buffalo, and now that's clouded by this.

Disappointing to see IJM on here, too. You can tell by the transformation to his body that he's worked hard to fill out into his new LB role, and I thought he showed pretty good instinct on a few plays so far this season.
BG '10
Attended more games than any responsible student should have.
So the multi offenders purged are Babers and Jinks guys. I think one or two first timers may be 2020’s, but the majority are from the Jinks leadership committee. When you grow a team, you pull from the top, not push from the bottom.... Our oldest, best and brightest just got tossed. Our best team leaders in the weight room, training table and classroom are not necessarily on the field yet....
Once again...the concern is that it has been almost 2 full years with the new staff. You’re never going to get everyone to buy in, but this shows the commitment level isn’t there from the team.
Shows on the field...I would expect we’ll improve, just because we kind of can’t get much worse.
