He gives me Chris Gallon vibes (before Gallon really beefed up his last couple of years here).hammb wrote: ↑Wed Dec 20, 2023 10:21 am I'm really excited to see what Winn Sharp can do here. AW is a becoming a damned good NWOhio program. His Jr. year they couldn't keep a QB healthy for more than a game or two and really became more option/rushing focused.
This year they could actually throw the ball and he became a good deep threat.

Re: Signing Day 2024
Here's a big one - DB Kal-El Pascal has signed with BG. Offers from UK, Maryland, GT, NC St. among others.
Edit: On social media, he indicates he also received offers from Texas A&M and Georgia in the spring, and lists himself as a 4-star DB. 247 has him as a 3-star without those offers, so who knows. Either way, this is a very high level talent and he'll be enrolling in January.

That’s 21, and the Twitter account seems to indicate they are done signing players for the day.
Wonder what’s up with those 4 I mentioned earlier. Possible that they end up in the fold in February, or they end up signing elsewhere. I know this seems to happens every year.
Good class in the fold!

Nice length in the secondary. Would not be shocking to see some of these guys make the two deep right out of camp next season.Globetrotter wrote: ↑Wed Dec 20, 2023 11:10 am QB

Re: Signing Day 2024
Loeffler said Pascal and Jacon-Duffy were last minute adds. Pascal decommitted from NC State, Brian White's son is on the staff there and alerted BG and they pounced. Jacon-Duffy they were fortunate to get out of the Cincinnati area, smart kid, had Ivy League offers.
Pringle, Dillard, Nelson, and Pascal will all be January enrollees.

Re: Signing Day 2024
Loeffler mentioned in his presser that Caden Campbell is Mark Campbell's son. Mark and Scot were teammates at Michigan. As I suspected, the plan is for him to "eat his way onto the offensive line."BillyLP wrote: ↑Wed Dec 20, 2023 8:50 amYou aren't kidding. Some of these guys are big. Getting a 6'5" safety and OLB at this level is pretty unheard of.
Couple very early observations so far on the TE signings: Hill and Jacon-Duffy are very legit TE prospects. Hill gives me Quintin Morris vibes. I would be surprised if the plan for Caden Campbell isn't to put 40 lbs on him and move him to the OL. He looks like a really good blocker but doesn't do much with the ball in his hands.

Dang...UT's class is ranked #65...we'll see who sticks.
247 says we're 10th in the MAC...we'll see

Re: Signing Day 2024
247 changes their rankings based on where players commit..it's nonsense.
If you watch the videos I love this class
At RB: You got diversity. Pettaway stands out to me but you really ahve the full gamit of size and speed.
At WR: Sharp looks elite
At OL: We signed 3 guys, which is a good number.
At TE: We signed 3 guys at least 2 standout.
On D: I think Owens and Banks are both going to be absolute studs. NFL guys. I think we don't get enough credit to how important playing time is. Guys like that go to a P5 and get buried. Here they will play almost immediately.

Re: Signing Day 2024
Elijah Parker who was a verbal commit but never signed a NLI, has done so with Ferris State.
