Lucian with 3 completions for 36 yards on that drive and BG sneaks a 49 yard field goal before halftime. That's a much better approach.

17-6 CMU with 0:53 to play.

I thought Anderson would be better at QB reads. There have been several he has handed off instead of taking off to the outside where there is room. His arm is solid with cross routes but he is very inaccurate to the outside or deep. Would almost be better with a triple option at this point.

Extremely weird sequence from CMU at the end of the half, where they got to just about midfield and then decided with 30 seconds left in the half to just run the clock out.

First half game plan was poor. Lucian is limited but you have to keep the defense honest and loosen up the box a little bit. Still in it but like last week the defense probably has to pitch a shutout to pull out a win.

CMU runs it all over us and it’s 24-6.

Any other games on in this early afternoon window? Preferably with 2 teams that are trying to win?

BG had its moment in the sun last week. It’s now getting a brutal taste of reality of things to come. CMU is destroying BG and they’re a run of the mill program who lost to Akron. They’ve lost 10 straight MAC away games and they are steam rolling BG. BG won’t win another game this year with this lineup/option/scheme.

Woof. This offensive play calling is as bad as it has been all year. Hard to even blame the players when it is this predictable.

Partridge is pretty worthless at OC. The offensive approach is unacceptable. To have all week and just not be prepared whatsoever is crazy.

Running into a 10 man box is ridiculous.

SMH…when you’re no threat to throw whatsoever, THIS is what happens. BG is beyond predictable! For the love of God let May play. You’re going to lose this game, why not let him play. He has passing experience from his previous schools. Let him play a series or two for crying out loud.

Guys - wake up…. It’s not BG’s play calling or BG’s schemes. It’s who is at QB! Stop waking on egg shells and face the glaring fact. BG is playing with one arm tied behind its back at QB right now. He’s no threat to throw and BG is beyond predictable. They can’t call plays or run schemes for a problem like that. Why they haven’t made a change is the question .

Complete program fail today. Poor game plan, play calls, lack of discipline.

A sack on a 2 man pass rush. Awesome.

Completely wasted an awesome crowd in beautiful weather today. Hoping the offense understands how awful they were today, it has to be adjusted ASAP.

If Pyne doesn’t play next week - Kent State is beating BG next week.

CMU out there looking like Ohio treating BG like a rag right now! I’m not used to seeing a team other than Ohio destroy BG like this, especially on the road.
