Re: @ Kent State (10/25)
Baron May just broke his leg so things aren't going to get better at QB.

Re: @ Kent State (10/25)
This loss has nothing to do with Baron May. This is horrible coaching, O line play and soft defense. The oline has killed three qb’s now. It’s laughable that they were supposed to be the strength of this team.
Re: @ Kent State (10/25)
Thought the board might’ve killed itself to not have to watch this game. Wouldn’t have blamed it.
We’re bad. And I have serious doubts about Eddie’s ability to make adjustments and have any kind of real offensive identity. We’re going to recruit well, but that doesn’t matter if they don’t know what they’re doing.
I don’t know if we’ll win another game this year. Have to keep perspective that this is only year 1 of this staff and they came in in March, but man is this frustrating.

Looks like an Achilles. Non-contact.

Re: @ Kent State (10/25)
I personally wouldn’t expect a win for a MAC team down to their third quarterback (now fourth, it looks like) against anyone. It’s not an excuse. This is a bad loss, but I think a Toledo win gave some pretty unrealistic expectations on this board for a team a lot of us thought had a 5 win ceiling.

Funny enough, Najm’s arm looks the best of the bunch.

Ok, the results are in. This coaching staff has no idea what they are doing. What in the name of James Franklin’s kind of playcalling was that?
Re: @ Kent State (10/25)
A couple of questions. When are we going to admit that DVDM is not the best AD ever created, and his hires have been mediocre at best? Some poor. Do we need to start thinking about Fire Eddie billboards? Let's hope we got plenty of impressions today. If it smells like a used car salesman it probably is.
Re: @ Kent State (10/25)
This season is exactly what I feared when we hired Eddie. Big name, brings excitement and recruitment, but his entire career as a player was spent with the exact type of football I never want to watch. How many years did he play with Jeff Fischer?
This brand of football is just awful. I'm sure it will look better with better QB talent but if you're gonna kick a fg on 4&1 up 7 then I want nothing to do with ya

Now that’s just trolling. He has done a fine enough job with limited resources. This coaching staff looks awful right now and the conservative nature is painful but way too early to give up on them. Yes they need to take a lot of the blame but it’s still early.
Re: @ Kent State (10/25)
Awful loss for the trajectory of the program. Luckily it's winter season and I can be disappointed by other sports now
Re: @ Kent State (10/25)
Yeah, if you can't get them to run a luck return without committing a penalty just take a touchback. I hate KR penalties so muchjpfalcon09 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 25, 2025 3:15 pmIt's on the staff. Lack of discipline with dumb penalties for the second game in a row, poor play calling, and conservative decision making.

Re: @ Kent State (10/25)
That was beyond embarrassing. I’m not surprised that BG lost, but I am surprised at how they did it. Well, welcome to rock bottom. Another putrid season but hey, at least BG beat Toledo. That seems to be all anyone really cares about anyway….SMH….
GO BG!!!
