No wisky or boise for me. Don't think the wife will let me leave her with 3 kids, one being a 6mo baby. Though I will be at the as many conference games as possible, I think I will get the flex plan this year. It is time to train my 5yr old in the ways of the falcon. Plus I got some new "BGSU" cornhole boards for tailgating this year.

Yes to Wiscy, no to Boyzee
I'd love to go to ALL games though.......
Yeah based on my experience with Amtrak be prepared to be delayed. It happens almost every time especially on a trip like that. I have spent seven hours in grand central station and several hours many other times. It is not reliable if you somewhere to be by a certain time.1987alum wrote:McMetz: Have you checked the Amtrak timetables, etc.? If not, you might want to do so now. Way to shoot down my hopes of that one!

14 you say??? Try more around 18 there...and then around 23 on the ride home!!!

Good man, PGY! My 8yr old and 5 yr old sons are Falcons all the way. Some see it as brainwashing but hey, whatever works!PGY Tiercel wrote:It is time to train my 5yr old in the ways of the falcon. Plus I got some new "BGSU" cornhole boards for tailgating this year.
Looking forward to meeting you at the Tailgates!

Yeah, I'm looking forward to seeing more Falcons-in-training on the practice field during the tailgate!Falconfreak90 wrote:Good man, PGY! My 8yr old and 5 yr old sons are Falcons all the way. Missing the Wisconsin game may just kill me, but alas I will be in a Washington DC church as my future wife is a bridesmaid in a wedding of two people I have never met.
With our honeymoon and a bunch of other weddings, I won't be able to afford Boise. I will be at all of the MAC roadies, MACC, and bowl game, though. I don't think the first home game will be until 10/1, either. That will be a long month of September without seeing the Falcons in person.
Speaking of potential home game dates, do you think the MAC will try to schedule an early season conference game again? I have not looked at all the other MAC schedules, but I believe we could host a late Sept. game -- which would be nice to get in one tailgate with the potential for perfect weather.
**EDIT**
I check nationalchamps.net (not the most reliable source, I know), but Toledo looks to be the only team not available on 9/24 for a MAC game. There are a couple teams (Kent and UB off the top of my head) that are still searching for another non-conference game.
Did anyone notice OU's non-conference slate next year?
At Northwestern
At PITT
At VA Tech
-- a pretty rough start to the year -- and they are only going to have 4 homes games.

Oh, my fault. Yeah that would suck if we did not get some good weather for the home games. Those cold november games=bad attenedence as we all know.BGGrad01 wrote:Temple is the 10/1 game I was referring to.
