No...if people don't want him to talk, they need to quit giving him what he wants, which is dialogue. I can't lock him out just because he comes in and talks smack about his team. That's what this is all about!FalconKing wrote:This thread needs to be locked.
Personally, I find him to be quite amusing.

Re: So maybe BG won't score 70 points in Athens...
Sure,Hail Peden wrote:willing to bet your farm on that? ill be back after the season starts to see if you dont chicken out once you see ohio drop fifty points in its first game.Falconfreak90 wrote:
Early prediction....BGSU 51, OHIO U 10. You'll be lucky to score 10 on our D, with TEN starters back.
GO FALCONS!!!
you wanna go $50? I'll bet you $50 Ohio U doesn't score more than 10 points on BG this year. My farm is worth $50...my govt subsidies have run out. BTW, the same year OH dropped 50 on Kent St, BG dropped 72 on the bobkitties (2002). A week before Kent, Ohio piled up 55 points on EMU. Still wanna stand by it?
If you are gonna throw the ball this yr, I hope you have a great O line...cuz all 4 BG starters return (Crossley, Leininger, Thaler and Parks) up front and that unit had 33 sacks last yr. I see them getting 40-45 this yr. BG's run D is usually pretty stout.
Will you be able to get our offense off the field? We average about 200 ypg rushing to go along with 280+ passing. In '04, I look for BG to just smash it down the throats of the opposition.
Lemme know about that bet with US Grant's pic on the bill. I'll honor no matter what.
GO FALCONS!!

I love talking football smack ...
especially when it involves my Falcons!
Let's talk about the Bobcats, shall we, beginning with their schedule.
They open with the football juggernaut that is the Virginia Military Institute. The Keydets - no, I'm not making that up - posted an impressive 6-6 record last year. Their wins came against household names like Davidson, Norfolk State, Charleston Southern and Coastal Carolina. Tough losses were inflicted by always powerful William & Mary, Liberty (um, ring a bell anyone) and The Citadel. Should really give the Bobcats a stern test, methinks.
After road games against Pittsburgh and Miami, OU hosts Buffalo, that is if there are any healthy players left on the roster.
They are then on the road to Kentucky, play host to the Thundering Herd and travel to Toledo before the BG game. BTW, we are their Homecoming game, so I would assume they have the potential to have a good crowd.
Despite the aerial circus promised here, despite the fact that they are returning 10 players to a defense that gave up 31 points per game (including 20 TD passes vs. 11 interceptions), despite their impressive 17-3 win over SE Mizzou last year, here are my humble predictions ...
The Bobcats are, at best, 2-5 coming into the BG game. That's if they can stumble past Buffalo. I'd be leery of taking that bet.
Final score in Athens (I'm not sure what part of Athens one would find Peden stadium - North? East?), BG 62, OU 10. As a little cherry on the sundae - I'll really go out on a limb and predict either a defensive or special teams TD.
Oh and just for the record, Ohio finishes the year 2-9, including a mind-boggling loss to UCF in Orlando. We'll just refer to that as insult to injury.
