Guys, come on... this is silly. No one is betting that kind of scratch for real. Golfer, you aren't going to pay off Hammb's mortgage...
This one needs to end... talk about Cole's draft-worthiness, but don't be talking about wagering your life savings...
1>It's illegal and I can't condone it legally as the owner of this website
2>insert any number of other reasons here that this whole thread has gotten out-of-hand

Patton was picked up just recently, after being released in training camp. During the offseason NFL teams have expanded rosters compared to the 53 that they must choose during the regular season. Patton wasn't good enough last year to be on the 53, but was good enough to be picked up for the larger roster and another shot in TC to prove himself. I'm surprised that they didn't send him to NFLE.[/quote]
Umm, he is.....http://www.nfleurope.com/players/playerpage/1532
The discussion had to do with would Keon Newsom be signed as a UDFA. I said yes based off his ability to cause turnovers. Someone said that Patton was a better DB and wasnt even on a team. i said yes he s on a team.
Why the need to explain something obvious about the NFL rosters? In actuality NFL teams carry far over the 53 man level. They have a 53 man roster where 47 are active each week. Added upon that is injured reserve, Reserve Non football injury and a early season Physically unable to perform list. Beyond that is a 8 man practice squad. If healthy there are 61 spots on each team that he could fill.
Currently he is a backup in NFL Europe at SS and in about 3 days there will be about 1000 new players added to the mix the fact that he is not starting in NFLE does not bode well for him. However he is 5th on the team in tackles so he is clearly seeing PT. Perhaps the depth chart is wrong.

I think Cole's the number one pick overall this year. I ran into this guy on the street who happened to see Mel Kiper out to eat at a Waffle House or some similar food establishment and he said that Mel said the some NFL teams have been saying that NFL scouts say that Cole ran the cone drill really fast and that's good according to what physicists say about changing the rate of momentum in relationship to increased acceleration. From there the waitress, who was obviously a knowledgable football fan, asked what other attributes make Cole worthy a number one pick. A man sitting near Mel, but not Mel, said that he heard that Cole not only plays WR, but also can play emergency QB. Upon hearing all of this, a man at a nearby table called his friend, I believe his name was Jeff or something, the man on the street didn't quite know for sure. So at this point I kind of had my doubts about whether Jeff was involved in this rumor mill or not. But anyways, he told his friend that this Kyle Manger must be really good. Luckily, an old PA thread and our new announcer this past year allowed me to deduct that this was obviously Cole Magner they were talking about. So rumor has it that Cole may go number one over all or perhaps may be an UDFA. I don't know quite what to make of it. What do you guys think?ZiggyZoomba wrote:talk about Cole's draft-worthiness

I heard that he will be back in BG for a fifth year and then he is going into the NBA draft.

UK, nice avatar of Condylura cristata.
Did you know that the star fingers actually contain mostly mechanoreceptors and it is the texture of the food and not taste or smell that they are responding too? They use that to decide what to eat in 25milli seconds. What a great evolutionary adaptation.

My mistake...I was thinking of another record that he held until that game and that was Lowest percentage of passes had intercepted (min. 350 attempts) which is held by Marques Blackwell of South Florida with 3 picks in 403 attempts or 0.74%. Omar ended up with 4 picks in 462 attempts or 0.87%.TG1996 wrote:Nope, he still got the record. The INT might have brought him "off pace" for a moment, but the 5 or 6 TD passes he had that game gave him the record back.Redwingtom wrote: Actually Brian I think he just missed out on the record. He was leading going into the Memphis game but the interception he had cost him the record.
