No... you're not the only one.

My wife and I met on the old BGNet IRC in 1994. My nickname was scoop and my wife's was shy. We were married in 1999.

Was that song out in 1978???? Actually, I requested "Paradise By the Dashboard Lights" by Meat Loaf!! Mr friends made me call that song in. I had never heard it before and about died of embarrassment when I listened to it, especially when it was publically dedicated to me in Mac East!! I called back to clarify that situation and we all (BGFan, the DJ and my friends) ended up meeting and going up to the Brathaus, where BGFan accidently got stamped "high" (anyone remember what that means???). We stayed there instead of bar hopping!!! Weird story, but TRUE!!!
The funny thing about her request is that she thought that she was requesting a song called Paradise by a group called The Dashboard Lights! I always get a chuckle when I think about that.

And I live in a domicile! And I never smile. And the weather forecast for the nighttime always includes darkness.
Niiiiice!!!

btw - for all the anniversary people on here - the spouse and I celebrate 10 years of forced monogam...er....married bliss on August 12th this year.

The ball and chain and I met on the marching fields at BGSU...when I wasn't staring at Jeanna Stuber, I was staring at her.

Yep, that was the day! Puffy white clouds on a beautiful blue sky... We were tying things up at about 3 PM, so we've got you and Dana beat!! :-)

Weird....

My medical condition is why I'm not married. I was diagnosed Terminally Single a while back.
