I was thinking about rolling into Muncie around 2:30 (Indiana time), checking out how strict the tailgating rule is, then heading to a bar in town. We'll probably just find the closest one to the stadium.factman wrote:Is there a good sports bar somewhere close that we could have a pre tailgate "warmup? I have been to Ball State only once...back in 2003. I dont' recall any close bars...the stadium kinda sits out on the edge of Muncie. I could be wrong but I don't remember any kind of establishments by the stadium.
Did you check with the BSU crowd over on MACbbs? I'm sure they could tell you much more.

FWIW, I know the Indy alumni chapter is meeting at Damons in Muncie at some point before the game, though I'm thinking it might be at or after the lots open for tailgating. No AZZers in the bunch that I know of, but BG fans nonetheless.
