So you are promoting that we become an independent? :coo-coo:transfer2BGSU wrote:I'd like to drop most of those MAC games and play a schedule that is par to what the non-mid-majors play.Warthog wrote:We already have 8 MAC games and Wisc, Boise, Ohio St, and Fla Intl. Isn't that enough? :duh:

MACMAN
Oh boy the MAC should split the East and West totaly.
MAC EAST
BGSU
Toledo
NIU
Miami
Ohio
Central MI
MAc West
Eastern MI
Ball State
Western MI
Akron
Buffalo
Kent
Temple
make each separate and have each pickup as many POWER OC games to ballance thier remaining open slots.
I love the fluidity of college football, each year their are new names, who have unproven track records.
Omar Staying or going is part of that excitment as well. AT is very athletic, but his game presence is still a real unknown, we will see it this week, I am however confident he will make a good showing as he will be preped and ready to lead.
I am not worried about next years OC sch. We will see alot of our younger players grow a lot between now and then, and forgoing any internal issues, coaching unknowns, I feel confident our Falcons will be very competitive again next year.

And where did that get Temple?transfer2BGSU wrote:Actually that is one-quarter of the schedule that I want us playing. TU and Miami take it up to five games. If you want to be considered one of the big boys, you need to play their schedule. That was what I liked about the Temple schedule - they did not back away from anybody.Falconfreak90 wrote:Don't get me wrong, I'd love another shot at OSU.
But with Wisky and Boise State already on the sked, that is quite a schedule. I'm all for playing the best but that is gonna be tough.
Give us Fresno State, and a few ACC/SEC/Big12 schools to fill out that schedule next year.
