I don't think BRINGING it was the problem....I think drinking a half gallon of the stuff might have been what the real problem was!!

I agree, stick with beer!! :drinkers: :partyman:
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

After watching the Miami-Akron Game and with Omar out for the game, I am quite concerned about our chances against the Zips. They looked really good against Miami. It was a VERY tight game until the fourth quarter and 14 of the 21 points scored within a minute in the fourth quarter were off of BIG turn-overs.

Akron's sophmore QB (A tranfer from Pit) is the real deal.

The only way BG wins this game is if the players step up to the challenge at every position and have the mental toughness to fight it out in a close game.

Good point.

And I/we did not drink the entire half gallon :)

We did, however, almost kill a fifth of orange twist Smirnoff.

BGSU 20 (another missed extra point)
Akron 17
Hey! That was my pick to start this thread, even the part about the missed extra point!
Damn that's scary. I didn't even realize it.

It's a relief seeing no one predicting 50+ points for us this Saturday. Let's get realistic. BG scores three TD's, goes for three two-pointers and wins 24-14.

Prediction: the announcer articulates Turner's name correctly.
