Here's my version of the snakeman reference. After a game I was trying to describe him to a friend and he goes "Oh, are you talking about the guy that looks like Blue from Old School?" I think everyone knows that he's snakeman but it's just easier to describe him as the guy that looks like Blue.

I wish we had 10,000 more Snakemen! As long as he comes to the games, he can have one of my beers.

I'm surprised at the level of knocks people are making on this guy. He's been to more away and bowl games then most people on this board.

I swear, every game that I have in my archives of BG taped from TV, somehow someway he always manages to get on the TV.

I have no problem with him. I even gave him a ride down from downtown to the stadium for the Akron game (I think). He told some good stories. I think he is pretty harmless and he is a great fan.

We pulled into a rest area on the way to Buffalo this year. Who pulls in right behind us? Snakeman. He said they weren't sure where to go, but saw us in orange so they were tailing us. I don't remember a game that I have been at where I didn't see him (except maybe Kansas). I didn't see him before the rain delay on Tuesday, but, sure enough, he strolled into Yager right before the game resumed.

My daughter (graduated in 2005) says that he has actually bought her drinks. She says his name is Paul and he is retired. Divorced twice but still gets along with his ex (so he says).

One drunken night I was at the corner grill after the bars closed with some friends and Snakeman came and sat down at our table. He said his name is Paul and he is a retired vet and is divorced. He lives and breathes BGSU football and he loves all the attention he gets when he goes out around BG. He said he has slept with several BGSU girls. He also told us a story about going to the ER for alcohol poisoning after drinking an entire bottle of 151, but still going to the BG game that next day. It was quite an interesting convo! It does amaze me that he always finds a way to get on TV and how he stands down by the field at home games.
By the way...he actually didn't try and take any of our food or we were just too drunk to notice!
