I would have loved to see him again! That was indeed one of, if not the, most exciting games I've ever seen.
I'll never forget Stolz at the post-game press conference, laughingly saying something like "you didn't even know his name before today." Have to admit, he was right.
But I'll never forget it.

Neimet? You really must be mistaken. Talk about an overhyped Columbus City League player. He chose BG over Penn State because JoePa wouldn't let him play baseball his freshman year. He was a supposed major league baseball prospect. While I think he had a respectable baseball career, I don't recall it panning out. Of course, neither did the football career.
I've only seen three QB's play in person in my time as a BG student/fan - Sahm, Harris and Jacobs. I've seen video of McClure, and what I have seen has been pretty darn impressive. That said, though, I have to give the nod to Harris simply based on my experience. Sure, he never won a championship, but he was, in my mind, the keystone in the rebuilding project that we have all witnessed over the past few years. Omar is a close second, and if he returns next as some have said, he could overtake my #1 spot with a good season. Omar needs to ask himself if he wants to be a great quarterback, or a mediocre quarterback who left early for the NFL. He's a competative guy, so I think (hope) that he wants to be one of the greatest in BG history.

It is not my intention to do away with government. It is rather to make it work - work with us, not over us; stand by our side, not ride on our back. Government can and must provide opportunity, not smother it; foster productivity, not stifle it. ~Ronald Reagan

Brian was the perfect package, he was a leader of those teams on and off the field. Understood the game and could see things before they happened, had a great ability to read D's, had a great arm...
I would be interested if we had a way back machine to put him head with Omar in passing skills drills. that would make for a fun trip.
