Excellent use of commas there. I applaud you!orangeandbrown wrote:No, thank you, but I appreciate the offer.
Sure would be nice if Big 10 would lose all their bowl games

Agreed.BGDrew wrote:
I honestly think it's way too early for us to be saying we have "no shot" against teams when we don't even start the season for another 8 months.
Don't think saying OSU will be a much better football team than BG next year is writing off the season. I think it's common sense. If OSU is not in the top 5 when they play BG I will be shocked.BGDrew wrote:
But, if you already want to write off the season, it's your right.

So, They will just reload with anthony Gonzalez, and some top talent Freshman just as good or better than Ginn or Holmes. I'm sure there are plenty of receivers who you havent even heard of, didnt play this year, who will rise up and be just as good. Pittman and Troy Smith are the ones people are going to have to worry about.. With most if not all of that o-line comming back Pittman is primed for the big time next year. he has come on very very strong last half of the season.Jacobs4Heisman wrote:Santonio Holmes has also declared for the draft -- one less weapon for us to deal with next year.

I am sure that OSU has a stable of receivers waiting to replace Santonio Holmes, but they won't be "just as good" as Holmes 4 or 5 games into next season. Down the line, I'm sure they will have someone that will be that good, but I doubt they will be that good starting out.tekekini wrote:So, They will just reload with anthony Gonzalez, and some top talent Freshman just as good or better than Ginn or Holmes. I think OSU returns 3 of their offensive linemen and I'm sure next year's newbies will be very good, but they have to replace Nick Mangold who just became eligible for social security. That guy has been around forever. Remember what happened when BG lost their stud center and line leader this past year. OSU may not have a huge struggle, but I suspect that Nick Mangold will be greatly missed by the Buckeyes next year.
Something tells me they are going to be perfectly fine all across the boardBGGrad01 wrote:I am sure that OSU has a stable of receivers waiting to replace Santonio Holmes, but they won't be "just as good" as Holmes 4 or 5 games into next season.
