I’ll wager a coke that TE is in his future.
That was my initial thought too but he looks pretty rail thin. I was thinking he would be viewed more as a replacement for Broden.

A P5 talent that gets treated like a 3rd option?

Vegas set our win total o/u at 5.5.

It was 3.5 a season ago and the over cashed pretty easily when we won 6 games.

Feels like 5.5 is reasonable if we continue to take steps forward, but it's going to be a battle.

Without knowing the state of the teams we are playing, difficult to say. With a new QB and O-Line not here yet; given the extreme complexity of the offense, I think 5 is a big reach. Especially with the D line depleted.
It’s not my point of view, it’s a fact.

Commitment from D-2 WR transfer Jaylon Tillman of Grand Valley State. He was All-GLIAC and picked BG over pretty much every other MAC school plus a UConn and a host of FCS programs. Looks like he has nice hands and a great ability to bring down the jump balls. Not blazing speed but should definitely be in the rotation this fall.

He had 31 catches for 568 yards and 4 TD last season. He seems to have 2 more years of eligibility. Seems like a quality pickup.

WR room seems like it is in really good shape this fall. OJ Hiliare, Austin Osborne, Jhaylin Embry, Abdul-Fatai Ibrahim, now this man. I like our talent there this season.

(Please, offensive line, please block for Bazelak and let him work)

According to the university, Davon Ferguson is back for the 2023 season. Wonder what happened at GASO.

Loeffler said we were getting 10-18 new players by Memorial Day...is this it or just the first wave? OL still looks a bit thin

Seems like new additions are still trickling in.

Bam Booker, a former 3-star LB from Cincinnati, OH, is transferring in from Maryland to play on the defensive line, presumably as an edge guy. In the 2021 class, he had offers from Maryland, Boise State, Akron, Cal, Central Michigan, Cincinnati, Iowa State, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisville, Minnesota, Ohio, Pitt, Purdue, Toledo, and Western Michigan.

Definitely agree with this. You can never have enough big bodies in the trenches.

Who do we think starts on the offensive line right now? List of names to choose from:

Chris Akporoghene, Sr. - played in 10 games at Tulsa and 7 games at Tennessee
Darius Gaddy, So. - redshirted last year
Kameren Stewart, Sr. - 9 starts here last year at LT after playing in 29 games at Coastal Carolina
Cade Zimmerly, So. - played in 3 games last year after starting 10 the year before
Jake Burns, Jr. - played in 3 games last year, all on special teams, after spending 2 seasons at Cincinnati
Bronson Warner, Jr. - started every game for us last year at right guard and played 11 games at Abeliene Christian in 2021
Alex Padgett, So. - played in all 13 games last year, mostly on special teams
Armon Bethea, So. - did not play at Arizona State after transitioning from DL
Tunde Fatukasi, Jr. - played in 9 games, starting 4 across both tackle spots
Cedric Dunbar, Sr. - played in 9 games with 4 starts between guard and tackle
Alex Wollschlaeger, Jr. - started 12 of 13 games at right tackle

Interestingly, only Stewart and Dunbar are in their final year of eligibility. Everyone else can be here beyond this season.

You are missing Bolyn but he probably redshirts

Id guess
LT Stewart
LG Dunbar
C Zimmerly
RG Warner
RT Wollschaefer

LG is probably the most open. Both Bethea and Akporoghene are the big wildcards.

I have the roster mapped out here https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... sp=sharing
