What in the heck do you mean by that? Why would we ever want to play anybody but Barnes or Turner at QB?
40 or whatever carries a game for the QB may not bode well for the health of said QB. (See: AT's shoulder)
It's really no different than giving those carries to the RB. What's the difference between giving it to Barnes to run or to Macon? They're equally likely to get injured on each carry IMO. If you're truly worried about injuries, we'd have to give it to Winovich every time, he seems somewhat indestructible. Turner is a bit of a different horse, seeing as he banged up his shoulder last year against Kent, and now its happened again. He's more susceptible, and the coaches have to know that.

In the event that both Barnes and Turner go down, and we have to go to Glaud or Sheehan, I doubt we would employ a 40-carries for the QB type offense for them. Sheehan is particular seems more like an Omar-type pocket passer anyway, I don't know much about Glaud.

1 -- It was a joke. Settle.

2 -- You honestly think the average QB is as durable as the average running back in terms of taking hits on running plays?

Whoever said that Barnes and Macon were average QBs and RBs?
