First of all, NO! Ok, I had to get that out. Trinity Valley is a conference member, and their womens team is always kicking our ass, up until this year that is. And trust me, if he is at The Valley, he might not be eligible just yet. Hell, it might take him until the summer to get eligible. For some that ask why a kid from a JUCO might come in and play more than someone we already have, their is a legitimate reason for that. There are a lot of JUCO kids that are DI out of high school, but because they screwed around in high school, they aren't DI eligible. If the kid is getting an offer from Oklahoma, then he is for real. I really do hope that this kid gets to BG and becomes something special, but when I saw the name Trinity Valley, I cringed. And for those that are going to ask, no I haven't seen him, so I can't give you a report.

Houston,
FWIW, I don't know a thing about Trin.Valley, but, a LOT of JUCO's who've finished their 2 yrs. CAN enroll for 2nd Sem., in this case, obviously, at BG.
That being said, if he HAS enrolled, I'd think he's eligible to play in the Spring game... last JUCO to make a significant contribution was Rueben Ruiz, but I'm not sure he enrolled in 2nd semester and thus was able to play and learn the offense early.

That depends 61. He has to be a qualifier to able to enroll second semester. If the kid is a non qualifier, then he has to graduate to be eligible for the DI. I'm sure that if this kid is a 3 star, and he broke some of Tomlinsons high school records, that he is a non qualifier to be at a JUCO. Those types of backs are coveted down here in Texas, and he would already be at a DI.

My wording might have been unclear when I said "finished" 2 yrs.....I was referring to graduating, and then going on to the 4 yr. schools. I would agree that if this kid has indeed broken some of LT's records, he'd be "coveted" by more than Texas....even might be considered OK for Ohio.

I haven't read every post on this thread, but I note that Coffeyville KS Community College LB Jeerson Davis is shown as a letter of intent signer for BG on Rivals website. Perhaps this is posted elsewhere. If so, sorry for the repeat. Originally from SC, Davis is a 6'1" 210 LB who chose between BG and Memphis.
He was an interested spectator at both our women's and men's bball games this weekend and is in school. The punter Iovinelli listed elsewhere is on campus and signed up for classes with new spring semester students.
Sorry again if I am repeating but our incoming kicker may be the teammate of our JC RB signee Eric Ransom. Sinisa Vrvilo is listed as a top JC kicker who scored a lot of points this year for Trinity Valley CC. He is a native of Ft Worth. I understand Ransom will be a mid year transfer also and ready for spring ball.
