I'd rather see the retail logo on there. If not that, I'd like to see the traditional logo.

Does anybody know what the process is when changing logos? i would like to know whose idea it was to go with the interlocking BG? Can I get in conact with them and ask them to "BRING BACK THE BIRD!" The new helmet is visually uninteresting. There had to be a research team out there somewhere advising the athletic dept., or am I to assume that Greg Christopher made this decision alone. I doubt there is a more recognizable symbol of an athletic department that it's football helmet, and the new one just doesn't do it for me.

I highly doubt you're going to get them to change it....like REALLY HIGHLY doubt it.

I'd look at it, but the pin-heads that run the site require flash, which my company system doesn't allow at the moment. And it won't skip to a nominal, non-flash form.

This is ironic, since I almost never go to the site anymore, getting almost all my BGSU news from this site.

Does anybody have a graphic they can post, so I can't start hating the helmet now, instead of when I get home?

Wow.

I hate it.

It stinks.

It is lame.

It conveys zero passion, identity, etc.

It doesn’t even have the retail logo, which I dislike more by the year, but would still be better than this.

I wouldn’t buy a shirt, hat, jersey, program, bumper sticker, or anything else with that weak attempt at change on it.

I dunno, the fan base of the New York Islanders got them to revert back to their traditional logo after the team big wigs thought using the Gorton's Fisherman was a good idea. . .

He doesn't even have the mental skill to manage schedule issues, which I dislike more by the year, but would still be better than the future.

If what I saw on bgsufalcons.com opening page is the new helmet logo, then I'm very dissapointed. It sucks. Keep the bird people!
