I couldn't point the finger at anybody --- just everybody. This is not the same Bowling Green team that I saw play the second half of the regular season. They seem almost inept -- maybe inert tonight. Clearly they were not prepared and they're embarrassing the MAC as well as Ohio. Tulsa just isn't that much better, but they are tonight. They're faster, that's for sure, but BG is not adjusting and that responsibility is on the coache's shoulders. Brandon never could make adjustmens; I gu ess he and his staff are just not creative enough to make the right changes. I knew that BG would be challenged; but I never expected t his kind of onslaught. I think my high-school team could be BG tonight. They just plain stink!

I just like to give you guys s**t a lot. which is why I have advised many times not to listen to me 90% of the time..I don't really hate BG like you think I do.
I just disagree with your (not you persoanlly but the majority of this board) logic about OSU so much so I use it to irritate you. It is just a difference in opinion that you guys take extremely personal at times. I find it funny, but I can be serious at times. When I feel like it or need to be.
everybody has a bad night. EVERYBODY. How else would USC lose to Stanford?Dr. Reality wrote:I couldn't point the finger at anybody --- just everybody. It happens and teams move on. It is the way life goes. There are good times and bad.
Learn from it.

Don't have a dog in this fight but I never heard ANYBODY on here intimate that Brandon was God. His biggest defenders have always been sort of fence sitters IMO, crediting him for maintaining a pretty good level of play where others haven't but displeased that the level of play has slipped since Meyer left. That seems like a realistic attitude. Brandon is good enough to keep but probably will struggle from time to time. You don't fire a coach who was 8 and 4, tied for the Division title and made a bowl game. Not unless you are used to 10-2 seasons and BCS Bowls.bobio wrote:I wish it was just one game. The guy is a fake and it surprises me that so many people on here think he is God. We would have been much better off NOT being in a bowl game. We all knew or should have known that this team sucks!

All Brandon did tonight was put a lot more pressure on himself for next year.
I think he has to win the East next year now to extend his stay here.
Most of this debacle is on the players (turnovers), but barely anybody on our sideline looks like they even give a s**t, staff included. That reflects on Brandon. The stupid penalties that helped dig the hole reflect on Brandon as well.
It's only partially his fault that things went south so quickly, but I put a lot of blame on him for not having an answer. Is this season even a success anymore? 8-5 without a single good win and a bowl game that might have done more harm than good? That makes me a sad panda.

Can we get a consistent font for the names on our jerseys.
If Smith comes out and throws another pass... someone Turkey Jones him.

The one off the top of my head is the 85 Cal Bowl, but that was only 51-7.San Fran Falcon wrote:I never thought I'd say this..but, WILL THIS GAME PLEASE END ALREADY!! I just don't want it to get any worse. Is this the worst loss in BG history? If not, what is?
I think we lost worse way back in the day, but I bet it's been awhile.
EDIT:
68-0 to EMU in 1922
63-0 to UT in 1935
58-0 to Kansas State in 1997
63-7 to Tulsa tonight

I see a 68-0 loss to Michigan Normal, way back in 1920 (possibly 74-0). According to your database, we didn't lose by a score of 68-0 in any game in 22, And we didn't play a game against EMU until the 70's or soTG1996 wrote:The one off the top of my head is the 85 Cal Bowl, but that was only 51-7.San Fran Falcon wrote:I never thought I'd say this..but, WILL THIS GAME PLEASE END ALREADY!!
