Pretty sure they sell out every game just like OSU. Sure they have far fewer seats in their stadium, but the demand is high.Warthog wrote:Holy Crap, Boise St tix are $46!?!?!!?!!! I'd love to see the day when my BG tickets are costing me $46/game.

Boise State is the only game in town...or the state of Idaho for that matter. $46 is pretty steep...especially for a non BCS conf school but they have a GREAT fan base and their stadium is about 32,000 at the moment. I think they'll be adding on soon.

Supply, meet demand. They charge it, they get it, they sell out. Kinda like barrels of oil.hammb wrote:Pretty sure they sell out every game just like OSU. Oh sure, go ahead and insert logic into the discussion.ZiggyZoomba wrote:Supply, meet demand. They charge it, they get it, they sell out. This is an Internet message board. We don't take kindly to folks using fancy things like "facts," or "practical examples" around here. Every single one of us knows everything about anything and we don't need you and your fancy "logic" getting in the way.

The "bleachairs" go for a $100 per on a season tix deal...At least we won't have to haul my wife's "folding back" seat to the games.FortWayneFalcon wrote:I ordered season ticket for the first time this year, and I am unsure where I'll be sitting of course. Do any of you veteran season ticket holders know what the season ticket price level is for these bleachair seats??

I was checking out their message board, and it sounds like they're adding on a little bit at the moment. It looks like they're filling in some of the tunnels that lead from underneath the bleachers with more seats. Don't know how much more that will add to the total capacity. Also from scanning some of their posts, I get the impression that a big expansion is in the works. If you're curious, go to broncocountry.com. They seem to be a cool group.Falconfreak90 wrote:Boise State is the only game in town...or the state of Idaho for that matter. $46 is pretty steep...especially for a non BCS conf school but they have a GREAT fan base and their stadium is about 32,000 at the moment. They have really moved up quickly in their short time in 1-A. BG needs to strive to be at Boise State's level...

Freak, I agree 100%. BTW, where in Green do you live? I went to high school at Lake and lived in Hartville before heading to BG.Falconfreak90 wrote:SFF,San Fran Falcon wrote:I was checking out their message board, and it sounds like they're adding on a little bit at the moment. Lake, eh? Usually a VERY strong football program. I went to Dover and recently Dover and Lake have had some GREAT games. What took you out to San Fran?

That's a nice area. Used to do some jet skiing and bar hopping out there back in the day. Is the Pelican Cove bar still in existence? I lived just off of 619 as well (right behind the Hartville Kitchen).Falconfreak90 wrote:We live in the Portage Lakes area...right down the street from South Main and 619...San Fran Falcon wrote:Freak, I agree 100%. I loved Friday night football games in the fall. I was fortunate enough to be a junior when Lake made it to the DII state championship game in '91. We lost to Fostoria though. I kinda keep track of what's going on with them still (thanks to Mom & Dad). I wasn't aware that Dover and Lake have played each other. One thing I remember about Dover, is there damn cross-country course. Man, those hills were killers. When I ran cross, we'd always run that invitational (1991 and '92 team champs!...think I finished 8th & 10th overall.) O.K., I'm done reminiscing about the glory days.
My wife's job took us out here. Although, I have moved around quite a bit since finishing up at BG. Upstate NY (twice), Phoenix, and Detroit before landing in San Fran.
I went out and sat in one this afternoon. I really don't care for the back on it at all. I'd definitely recommend anyone who is unsure to go out there and sit in one. They don't yet have them on any of our seats in section 13...I wonder if I could talk them into leaving them off my seats? LOL, I'll pay the higher prices, I just prefer the bench seating...Falconfreak90 wrote:Thanks for the report, Grant. Doesn't matter to me....heck half the time I'm on my feet anyway...probably pissing off a few folks behind me.ZiggyZoomba wrote:I did happen to sit in one... yes.hammb wrote:Hey Grant, did you happen to sit in one of those seats? I haven't yet gotten out there to see how comfortable they are. I have yet to renew my season tickets and I'm not sure I want to pay extra for those goofy looking seats. I may just move back to the rows beyond the seats and save a little cash, if possible.
Ummm... I certainly don't want to discourage anyone from going with the seat-back, but I think it will definitely depend on your body type as to how comfortable they are. Felt pretty good under my tush, but wasn't a perfect match with my lower back.
I'd recommend heading over and sitting in one if you're not sure. I think they look cool and I think they'll be more comfortable than just a bench for most people!![]()
Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing what they're like. I think Mrs. Freak will be a fan of the chairbacks. At least the Atheltic Dept is trying new ideas...some work, some don't. But I feel the effort is there to make Perry Stadium more fan friendly. Look how much it has changed since the 2000 season. We need to fill that puppy every game cuz the place rocks with a BiG crowd.
Just tee the damn ball up. Who cares about the seats??![]()

The Pelican Cove is history...has been for about 5-6 years. There are homes on that site now. The PC got a bit outta hand and the city forced it to close. I think the night two dudes got kicked outta the club and came back wearing bullet proof vests and carrying shotguns was the clnicher. LOL!San Fran Falcon wrote:That's a nice area. Sand Bar, Dano's Lakeside Pub, Bob's Bar and a couple others are packed during the summer...tonight for sure.
