But I did an exhibiton game today, BG at Notre Dame and I won 27-21 AND I GOT GOOSEBUMPS for the 1st ever time via a video game. I have to say the custom stadium sounds make the value of the game triple. I was leading 20-14 headed into the 4th quarter and the ND band started blarring the 1812 Overture, I about jumped out of my seat I was getting so excited, felt like I was really at the game!!

Now, if only they can get BG's stadium correct on the game like they did with over 100 other schools, it'll be all set. It's crazy how they have all these cool features for the game but for about half of the MAC schools we share a generic bowl stadium while some of the details of the stadiums for nearly every other school are spot on. I mean, even the backgrounds of some of the stadiums are perfect with buildings, mountains or trees around the stadiums. Hey EA Sports, "If it's in the game".....it should be in the game. Anyone find any contact info for them to pass along some requests for next year's version? I'd gladly send along numerous photos to help them get our stadium corrected like nearly every other school across the country including half of the MAC.
GO BG!!!
EA has really opened up this year in regard to fan interaction. In fact the guy in charge of the artwork for the game has been a relatively active poster on OperationSports.com. He made it a point that they really want to get all the stadiums correctly rendered, but it takes a long time. They added 10-15 this year, I think he said. They are hopeful that they can get the rest of them added in for next year's game, but there are no guarantees. Somewhere on there he posted how many man hours it takes to get a correctly rendered stadium put together and it is a LOT. It starts with them sending out photographers to get tons of high-res photos of the stadium from all sorts of different angles. Somebody from BG posted pics of the Sebo and whatnot on the OS.com boards, so he knows that there are drastic changes that need to be made in the game.BGSU33 wrote:Now, if only they can get BG's stadium correct on the game like they did with over 100 other schools, it'll be all set. I just hope they get the stadium properly rendered before they come out with the next generation of consoles and have to start all over.
