I suppose "Figgy Zoombas" is too much of a culinary stretch, huh?oaklane2 wrote:I am having a problem with tailgate plans.
I am going to prepare dates stuffed with parmesan cheese (the real stuff) and wrapped in proscuitto.
The problem lays in naming them, should they be called "Mini Falcon footballs" or "Gopher nuts on a platter"? I am partial to the first name cause, well, I just don't want to eat nuts, however "Mini Falcon footballs" seems to lack pizzaz.

That is the pizzaz that I was looking for. What is culinary difference between figs and dates?TG1996 wrote:I suppose "Figgy Zoombas" is too much of a culinary stretch, huh?oaklane2 wrote:I am having a problem with tailgate plans.

Based on the posts today, here are my revisions for worker productivity with the Minnesota game looming large across the front windshields:
Freak: -10%. He has now publicly stated he isn't doing anything. Hopefully his boss doesn't know about this web site.
Dayons: 0%. This however is a credible number, he had previously requested a vacation day. Hope the homestead stays intact as you make the pilgrimmage.
VDub26 : 60%. Used to be higher until he came onto the board.
87 Alum : 90%. Always the conscientious one. Besides with his vast array of Photo Shop content, he can post under the auspices of doing "research on the internet".
Metz: Estimating 85%. Haven't seen continuance of the Frickers rant so he must be getting a good start on the semester.

My productivity is WAAAAAAAAAAY lower than 60% here at Joyce Buick-Pontiac-GMC. I'm still training here, not always taking customers, so I go between AZZ.com, facebook chat and the game "Noah's Ark" on yahoo games and that's pretty much my day...so, I think I'm in that negative range.

My productivity may well be negative as well.
Posting this in my "Intro to Promotion" class. Daydreaming through Campus Fest today. Probably won't get anything done at office hours this afternoon. Tailgating all day tomorrow.
Oh dear. A short week indeed.

"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Lacking significant posts and the fact that you chimed in at 4:00 pm, means that your work productivity was far greater than the vast majority of people who seemingly lived here for the past week.
There is no other way to finish a season other than yelling at the top of your lungs among BG's players holding the Peace Pipe aloft!
No continuance needed. I hate Frickers now. Been doing my grad work and coming home, no time to think about the lackluster managerial staff there anymore.JohnnySwoop '85 wrote: Metz: Estimating 85%. Haven't seen continuance of the Frickers rant so he must be getting a good start on the semester.
And hammb, I'm with you on being excited about this tailgating and the game! Tomorrow will be crazy. In my VCT 103 lab today, I asked the kids who was going to the game (these are 90% freshmen), and 38 of the 40 raised their hands. I expect a complete sellout.
I just don't know when I'm going to have to get in line to get my front row seat!

Anything I can bring to help out?hammb wrote: I'm pretty much ready to go. Grill is packed up, Chicken Wings are thawing, peppers are stuffed with cheese & wrapped in bacon. I'm psyched to get out there and get some tailgating done.
