Yeah, as I was voting at the athalon site I kept seeing the 1st place chick's number's going up as I was voting. I wonder what Nikki's chances really are of pulling it off. Remember facebook has an app for this as well. So just type sideline spirit in the search box on facebook and you'll find it , you can put in 10 more votes there as well.

I am not sure when the voting ends. I haven't even browsed through the entire forum as I have my hands full dealing with getting my players here in Indy healthy for our next game but just something to pass along. When I went for my PhD at Penn State they had a similair competition. This can be done at BG. Before classes started for the day at PSU, the professor told our students to vote, the max number of times per day, and keep voting everyday. Many PSU students had laptops and we voted in class. The enrollment at BGSU is 16,000. If only 1/4 of the students voted just ONCE per day, she would receive 4000 votes!!! If those students would cast 5 votes per day, that would be 20,000 votes per day. Someone in the Cheerleading Dept needs to mention this on campus. After 9/11 I believe BGSU has a massive email and text message alert system. It wouldn't be hard to send a massive text message out to vote. Just a thought.
PSU also sends out text messages to all students about upcomging Atheltic Events. Just think, within 5 minutes in creating a text, you can text the whole student population, as I am sure over 80% of all students have cell phones. If kickoff is at 7:00, you could send a reminder text message out at noon reminding students of the game! Another thing to think about.
