Good defensive series, but it looked like the 3rd down throw had pick 6 written all over it.
Loved the 3rd and 4th down calls on the last drive.

Omar was no more of a threat to run than ball than Tyler is. What Omar had was a better deep ball. J5 kept the defense honest by having the threat to run while Omar kept them honest with the threat of hitting Sanders or Sharon deep. Omar was not a runner, he looked more awkward than Tyler running it.

when AT gets the ball in a direct snap I think it may be a running play.

As I said in my Beam for Prez thread, there are 3 elements the QB brings to the spread. Deep patterns, dink and dunk crap, and running. Omar was deadly accurate all over the field, J5 was accurate enough and a great runner.
Tyler's good at the dinky patterns, and pretty much useless at everything else. That's not going to get it done.

Tyler is a solid weapon in the red zone running game.
Good kick coverage and an Akron penalty. This is the first time since Pitt that I have seen some fire from our guys.
