What a fantastic pissing match! I'll be right back. I have to go make some popcorn.

So...let's say Florida and Alabama drop a game in the SEC (before the title game) and Boise and UC win out from here. Is that your BCS match up?
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

I'm assuming you are asking this question of Texcat. Therefore, I'm going to answer it. Boise State could easily go undefeated for the season because they don't play all that tough of a schedule. The Bearcats have a very tough Big East schedule. I'd like to see them run the table. However, they have some really tough conference games ahead of them against some very good teams (like South Florida, Pittsburgh and West Virginia). If QB Tony Pike stays healthy, they could win out and go undefeated but I'm not counting on it. BTW, Tony Pike is probably a better QB than Colt McCoy, Sam Bradford or Tim Tebow. He doesn't get the publicity. Check the numbers. The Big East is probably the third best conference in the country.
One ESPN prognosticator predicted this matchup for the national championship: "Florida versus Cincinnati". I don't think it will happen....but we all have dreams, don't we? (Personally, I don't think Florida will be in the mix at the end of the season.........However, I noticed that Urban Meyer is willing to risk his QB's health to play him a week after having a concussion.)
Texas, Oklahoma and Florida will all try to run up scores and statistics for the remainder of the season. That's what they do. At the end of the season, the two best teams should play for the national championship. Whatever will be, will be.

No...I was pretty much asking anyone who cared to respond...it's the advantage that message board post has over a personal message

Okay, so this was your first answer. I thought about the fact that Ohio has two BCS teams. Both of them are in the top ten of the country. Ohio is the only state with two teams in the top ten. Shouldn't you guys be proud of that rather than resenting it?Flipper wrote:No...I was pretty much asking anyone who cared to respond...it's the advantage that message board post has over a personal message
I root for ALL Ohio football.

Did I magically get sent over to my cincy forum while reading AZZ, all this thread needs is more Cronin bashing, naming top BCS schools like ND, Florida State, and Michigan as guesses of Brian Kelly's next coaching job, and the bashing of local sports talk hosts who kiss Kelly, Cronin, and Mike Thomas' ass.
Is Clifton a great place to be, no not really. Is it the worst place in the world, no not really. I have never had problems down there, my friends from home who go to UC have never had problems down there that I know of, but would I live there, no, Springfield Township works for me, but hey atleast UC is trying to make it a little better by buying up houses in the bad areas surrounding campus. UC has done a fantastic job IMO making the campus look so much better. Last time I was on campus was late 07 and it looked so much better then I previously remember it looking, especially the area around Nippert, and while I wasn't in actually in the stadium it look much nicer then it did in the late 90s and early 00s when I went to some games. The whole athletics area looks awesome, and will be even better if they can ever get started with the indoor practice facility they have been talking about, and if they decide to try and add seating to Nippert (which I doubt happens).
