Close win, Ohio
Close loss, Buffalo
Not close loss, Miami
On the good side, my random number script is 1 for 1 so far. Python for the win.

You're expecting way too much and not being realistic at all. The coaching staff has to think about the future of the program too. Redshirting players and letting young guys get reps now is all a part of that process. Nobody expected us to compete for anything this year. Heck, I was one of the few people who called us beating That Team Up North, and for me, that one game was our season. In a down year when our rival was expected to win their division, we dominated them from start to finish.

It's ridiculous how many people on this board expect a MAC Championship every year, regardless of circumstances. In case you haven't noticed, we're not Ohio State, and that mentality just isn't realistic.

About unwatchable. I started falling asleep after our loan field goal of the game.

Walk-on QB, one scholarship RB, little talent at WR. Defense found themselves out of gas pretty quickly as Miami committed to stopping the run. I imagine the final two games will be much of the same. Reality of where things are at.

At this point just hoping the season ends without any significant injuries and look forward to NLI day in December so we can infuse some much needed talent into the program.

The QB situation looks like it will work itself out...McDonald plays next year and Keller and Melton sign? We're good.
WR? That's another story...there's not much talent on hand. We signed one highly regarded guy in Broden who's seen minimal action (fine with that...RS him) and Rogers who's returned punts and looked pretty good doing that the last couple of weeks and for 2020 we have one highly touted verbal. It doesn't seem like there's a sudden influx of talent on the way
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

Ortega-Jones is still young so I'll wait for him to get a full offseason under his belt and learn the system better before I critique him too badly. Maybe they get Rogers more integrated into the offense? Outside of that, it'll either have to be transfers or freshmen filling the gaps. Similar situation to 2010 and 2011 where you had Jorden and really no one else until Joplin, Burbrink, and Bayer became the focal point late in 2012 through 2013. I trust in the staff to find the right fits though and hopefully kids who can assimilate in pretty quickly.

I think when we have a QB in that can make throws, the talent will emerge. The offense that they run with a thrower is totally different than the read-option we are limping through. Our D will look better when they aren’t out there again after 3 and out most of the game. I was at the game. Probably 1000, with a lot leaving at half.
It’s not my point of view, it’s a fact.
