They do things right down in Cibolo

Positives
Great high school record
Has College HC experience
Worked at USC, Texas Tech, and Houston

Negatives
Had never been to Ohio before 2018
7-24 as BG's head coach
The program was a dumpster fire when he was here

I think we should consider the guy!
You forgot an additional negative
Now has obtained an agent since Chris Kingston and Kit Hughes first contact.

The Jinks hire was so...mystifying. Made no sense then...unless you figure Kingston had it in his head he needed to replace an African American HC with an African American HC who ran an offense that would "go fast"

How was the hire approved? Then President Mazey not only approved the hire, she later congratulated Hughes on his involvement in the process soon after Kingston left.

8 year NFL veteran, played major college football at Oklahoma, in his mid-40s. D2 national coach of the year last season and took them to the national title game. Feels like this would be a big swing on a relatively unknown guy, but I'd at least be curious about it.

Negatives
Wikipedia says he is 62 but graduated from college in 94 so I think it's wrong and he is actually about 51
Not sure if he left Toledo on good terms or what?
