Its over. Great game. Love the combo of Orth and Bazalek. Coaching looks dare I say good.

This team has good WRs and can't get the passing game going to them. That is probably a QB issue, and probably a line issue and probably a play calling issue.

If they get it going then they could be really good.

Hope TK is OK. BG kinda lost focus and could have put the game away earlier and take out starters.

I think a line issue above all. The play calls have all been designed to get the ball out of the QBs hands as quickly as possible. No time for anything to develop.

The first TD of the player who will go down as the 2nd best QB of all time at BG only behind Bazalek

Dominated a team that you should dominate. Keith becomes the first player in school history to go for 100+ rushing and receiving in the same game.

The team looks really good. Barring a total meltdown where we get destroyed the last three games Loeffler will be back. Bowl eligible is the standard here and I guess that's ok.

Loeffler gets a $25K bonus this year for bowl eligibility.

Can’t believe that 100/100 stat is true with backs like Travis Greene & PJ Pope. PJ missed it by 2 rushing yards back in 2004 against Tol.

Great team win, short 20 min drive home...love when we play at Akron and Kent State. Way too many penalties (11!) and we cannot afford those Tuesday night. But, I love our chances in this game. Cannot wait to get to the Doyt Tuesday afternoon. Took off two days from work for this one.

Akron, BSU and Kent are three of the absolute worst teams in FBS football. Losing to one of them would have been a disaster. Beat UT and WMU and the season would have to be called an unexpected success

This. Especially given the butt kicking that they took from both OU and Miami.
Those teams are the measuring stick and how SL should be evaluated, not Kent and Akron, and the Falcons lost those two games by a combined score of 65-7. That is nothing to be encouraged about.

Consistency and discipline continue to be an issue; two things you'd hope to be past in year 5 with the same coach.

I still maintain that if BG has a goal of ever getting to a MAC title game again (and winning it), they'll need to make a coaching change. SL did a good job of rebuilding this roster after it was basically decimated, but I'm hoping the AD has higher aspirations.

We're not getting rid of a coach that brought us to back to back bowl games. Zero chance.

He will probably be let go the second he dips below a winning record for a season, but for now, he's our guy. I don't know if we can win a MAC title with him (I lean towards no) but he will be the guy until it goes south.

I'd like to think next year is our best shot. Bazelak and Orth are back, Stewart and Keith are back, Fannin is back, 4/5 of the O-line is back. Should be a darn solid team next season. We're not beating Penn State or Texas A&M on the road, but every other game is winnable.
