I don't care when we tailgate, because I clearly cannot attend. I will support this endeavor however, as long as you guys promise to come to the Field House Show two hours before game time and sneak me a beer!

I voted OU, not sure why, but I'm pretty excited to show them that their new coach won't change things when it comes to playing BG.

Drink a few in the parking lot before you go into the field house. I might know some people who used to do that  Shots always work good too...just be prepared to sweat A LOT during the performance in there!

You're ON!
I'm in , I'm in! I love a good ole' chili cookoff. Now I just have to come up with a name for my chili. Perhaps, UK's Piquant Bourbon Chili!
You wouldn't be taking my award winning Bourbon Chili now would UK. Its just like you to go and try to take credit for my creation. Did you not think I would read this. I'm sure you would have asked me to make it, then pass it off has your own. I'm groing several pepper varietys myself this summer, plus I'm with you Hammb, hot chili, but I like a few beans for texture.

Does this mean I need to get one of my Guiness beer corn beef roast there, too?? :P If not that, I will bring some kick ass meatballs!! My chili sucks...

So, I'm beginning to plan legistics for the chili cook-off. Getting equipment there, where to cook (Ohiogal, I'm coming over!) and what-not.

There is one thing I need. Can anyone lend me their chainsaw?

Of course I knew you'd read that. I'm throwing down the gauntlet and challenging you to the best Kentucky Bourbon Chili this side of the Ohio River. So it's a duel at the AZZ tent, at the game of Grant's chosing. Good day, Sir! I SAID GOOD DAY, SIR!

I'd go with Toledo

Post by BGSU Crazy Fan 58 »

I'll go with the toledo game as my vote. I think having a tent will give all us BG fans a chance to get together and get rowdy before we crush UT. Plus having a tent there will give the game even a more big time atmosphere and like ZZ said, give us a chance to be shown on ESPN as they intro into the game. I wouldn't mind it being the Ohio game either. You know if a student was a true fan they would just stay on campus friday night, party, go to the game saturday, and then leave to go home after the game and still have a full 3 days off. I mean what's an extra day? That's what I plan on doing, no way I'm missing a BG football game. I suggest not having it for Temple because it is the first home game of the year and it wouldn't give us the tent party to look forward to the rest of the year. That's my input, either way it will be a good time!

Its on. You can't even drink a good bourbon, much less decide on how to cook with one.
Pansy. Chilis it is, High noon. grants decision. Choose your peppers and seasoning wisely

If its a tie, are you two going to slap-fight to decide a winner?

Nah, if its a tie will just have a to drink until the first guy quits. Or we could get our wives to mud wrestle.

Aw, that's not a fair fight. I'm sure that with Mrs. UK in her present condition I can take her. (Not that she doesn't look scrappy UK).

TG, wanna come over for some chili? One question, would the USDA consider you Prime, Choice, Select, or Canner? :axe:

It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Nah, I'll be fine. It wasn't so much the cooking thing I was reacting to, it was the cute little spat between our Kentucky sisters....
