I guess my frustration is born of the fact that I can probably count on one hand the number of decent passes that AT made last night. I guess I would feel differently about his recent performances if it was his throwing shoulder that he had injured earlier in the year. The throws he is making right now, it seems to me, are not the result of working through an injury, but rather, piss-poor decision making.BGFootball wrote:Bleeding Orange wrote:BGFootbal, I really don't mean to be a dick, but from my perspective as a fan:
AT =![]()
AG = ???
At this point, I'll take ??? overhands down.
Dont worry, no offense taken 8) .....
I cant expect people on a message board to believe that I know what Im talkin about lol.......
and although I am also disappointed right now with the play of AT and our team last night, I still know what hes capable of, and I know he will come through....and as disappointing as it may be, he is our guy right now.....so im gonna support him 100%...
And maybe the coaches are playin him before hes 100% because he is still out playing our other options at QB??? I mean, alot of people are knockin Coach Brandon, but dont forget about Coach McCall. He is a great quarterback coach and has coached many good quarterbacks...just give it some time....thats all im tryin to say...
I'll shut up now, though.
I was not using his injury as an excuse for poor passing, just an excuse for why he may not run as hard as he used to when scrambling.....thats all...and from what I have seen the reason Turner runs so much is because he has trouble finding a receiver quick enough so he tucks and runs....Alot of his runs are not designed QB draws everytime like they did with Barnes.....
