I saw an article yesterday that Florida State's president met with FSU's players and coaches after two back-to-back incidents recently with football players. I also read that Jimbo Fisher banned players from the bars too (I always find it funny how many of the players who get into trouble in bars aren't even of age but that's an entirely different topic). I'm not much of a fan of the FSU program but I will say they are certainly making a concerted effort to try and put a stop to this kind of behavior.
We all certainly know the recent run-ins with the law that some of our players have had in the last year or so. If BG was a Power Five school in the state of Ohio (see Ohio State) all of these incidents would have become national news. Unfortunately we've been making local news for pretty much all the wrong reasons, but I hope BG is also making a concerted effort through forms of administration to help put an end to these type of issues too. I know it's inevitable with a large roster that sooner or later the odds of something happening are likely to occur. But we've certainly had our share and there's no excuses for us right now. If we know about all the incidents with the team, they certainly do too. I actually miss reading articles about our team, but in light of the type of ones we've had recently, this is certainly the case of "no news is good news" and that's fine by me.

According to the S-T, a fourth person was charged in the incident at Liquid who used to be a member of the team but was removed from the roster, Jacob Nachtrab. I believe that wraps up all the charges from that night.
