YouTube video is out detailing all the uniform combinations. I've been told that brown helmets are indeed going to be included and could possibly be available sometime during this season.

Brown helmets would look sweet! But I'm also in the minority in that I loved the grey uniforms and helmets!

I caught a little of the Browns game tonight and really liked the way their jerseys looked. I was trying to figure out why their white jerseys looked so much sharper and with a brighter look than the ones we'll be wearing this year (both BG and the Browns are wearing Nike). It's because the Browns have orange numbers with a brown shadow while BG has brown numbers with orange trim. I really like the way the orange looks over the brown. I'd love to see us change that up in the future. One thing I do like that BG changed a few years ago and still has and that the Browns added is the brown facemask on the orange helmet. I do wish we'd go back to the brown facemask on our white helmet too, the white helmet with a white facemask looks so washed out.

Orange numbers on white uniforms are tough to read. The brown outline may help but I was surprised to see the Browns went with that combination. HD TV helps but the fans in the stadium will have difficulty reading them.

Disappointed to hear that the new Nike uniforms don't fit as well as the previous adidas ones. I've noted at least one player comment that they preferred the cut/fit of the adidas unis from last year better. If you look at the photos so far of the new ones it is clear they aren't quite as tight and form fitting as the adidas ones....

Interesting. Kingston keeps telling everyone these are the highest tech nike uniforms. "Same ones worn in the National Championship game, last year."

Me too. They looked fantastic and function perfectly as alternate uniforms that many teams occasionally wear.

Trying to walk the tightrope between the traditionalists and modernists, Tennessee is keeping their alternate gray uniforms under Nike and are calling them "Smokey Gray."

I never thought we needed to experiment with a metallic finish. But I must say they did a good job with those. Can't wait to see them in the Tennessee sun.

White jerseys and white pants...with these sick brown lids. We debuted the white helmets at the Swamp in 2012 with all white unis and that was really cool. White will reflect the heat and sun off the players...at least I would think.

Will this week go a bit faster? Looking forward to the trip and a BiG Falcon win.
