The date is tough for travel.
Most people take off work after Christmas, not before. And being away right before the holiday can be quite complicated with family obligations, etc.
I understand completely, but there are still some people that are/were planning on going, and NOTHING from the university, alumni, or athletic department. Could we at least find out what the BG/team hotel is? My guess is the Marriott again, but who knows!
Most other schools that I have looked at have all kinds of information on their website or have received info from their alumni assoc about their bowl game and we are less than two weeks out from travel.

I wonder if budget issues are playing into this? I know for the Kent game this year there wasn't enough money to even allow the cheerleaders to make the trip. Is the Falcon Club doing something instead?

I fear this defensively, not so much on offense as I think Matt wants to go out with a bang.
Still, I shudder at the Pizza Bowl against Pitt where we let Conner run all over us in a game where the loss of the coach was clearly evident. This is why I hate the coaching carousel happening before the bowl games because they turn into disasters for teams who are losing their coaching staff.

An email or post on the website doesn't cost much!

Hopefully that improves by next week. It poured like hell in 2004 when we played Memphis in Mobile too.
It was actual a precursor to a hurricane or tropical storm that night, that brought heavy rainfall and then ice and snow all the way back up North. Parts of Ohio got 22 inches of snow from that system. It was fun driving home. At least the rain was more or less a warm rain in Mobile.

The weather didn't bother me that much because we won. Now had we lost it would have sucked.
