Chad Dennis is in his first year on the strength and conditioning staff at BGSU. He serves as the head strength and conditioning coach for the Falcon football program.
Dennis, a native of Baytown, Texas, came to Northwest Ohio after spending the last two years as assistant sports science/assistant strength and conditioning coach with the Houston Texans. Prior to joining the Texans, he was the head strength and conditioning coach for football at Texas Tech University.
Dennis also has served two stints on the strength and conditioning staff at Texas A&M University. He was an assistant strength and conditioning coach for the Aggies during the 2012 calendar year.
He spent nearly six years (February of 2006 to December of 2011) as assistant director of sports performance at the University of Houston, after serving as assistant strength and conditioning coach for football at the University of Connecticut for a year. Dennis was a strength and conditioning coaching assistant at Texas A&M from August of 2002 through May of 2005.
He earned his Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from the University of Texas in 1993, and received a Master's in Sports Physiology from Texas A&M in 2005.
Dennis is a certified strength and conditioning coach (CSCS) by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), and is a member of the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCA).
He and his wife, Mindy, have one son, Coleman.

I hope we have a good crowd on hand tomorrow. Kickoff is slated for 3pm, and the weather is calling for 62 degrees and partly cloudy, with winds up to only about 8 mph. Should be a beautiful day for BGSU football, and I'm looking forward to spending the afternoon at the Doyt.

Interesting news: David Konowalski will NOT be honored for Senior Day today.
