Lol the offense with Anderson is 3 yard bootlegs. Ridiculous he doesn't have the full playbook at his disposal.

Loeffler just chucked his play sheet in the air after that 3rd and 11 conversion. Time for a change.

Niu and old dominion figured out how to run their offense with a backup. We look completely lost with Anderson and that's on the coaching

I’m afraid even when we fire SL that this is as good as it will ever get. Our program is poor and without money you can’t compete in modern college football. Maybe you get a spark with a coach on the rise but that guy is only going to have one decent year then be swooped up by someone with money. I think the glory days are gone.

This is 100% true, and it’s why, while I love the program, I would absolutely sacrifice it if it meant we could invest way more into hockey and basketball.

I know that’s not how things work, but I’d prefer it to being stuck in this bad to mediocre cycle we’re going to be in forever.

Very excited to watch Loeffler’s presser and hear him go on and on about the 5 plays that we had drawn up right and threw it to the wrong guy, or other excuses that are made every week around here.

Apparently he already prepped those comments by saying this week this NIU defense was harder to prepare for than Penn State.

Did I see it correctly that we only had one third down conversion today?

I've seen this outcome for 3 years now...and I've been calling for a change for at least two.

Yes, it's a big risk to find a coach at a non-power conference school, but there are good ones to be found. Let's hope BG gets lucky and finds one of those. I think it's pretty clear SL is coaching in his final season at BG.

I’m gonna guess that Scot is coaching for his job in the Toledo game. If he wins, he gets the rest of the season. If he doesn’t, it’s a logical time to make a change because it’ll be a long week of prep before MACtion. Extra time to help with the transition to an interim.

Very disappointed.

Anderson can’t throw. Fitting, with this QB development ability we have shown for more than half a decade now.

How is Matt McDonald the best QB we have had in a decade????

Hire the right coach and you can compete quickly in the transfer era especially in the Mac. We need a new coach while dvdm is still here.

5th time in 6 years that we’ve started 2-4 through 6 games. The other year was the COVID year, where we were 0-5 all season.

I’ve probably held on longer than anyone defending Scot, but I’m over it. We can’t win in a bad football conference with him, so there’s nothing left to defend.

Do we even become bowl eligible? How ugly is it going to get?

Still gotta play Toledo and Miami. Regardless of record, those are hard games. If we lose them, we have to win every single other game to get to 6-6. And since we are apparently bad, there are no guaranteed wins.

Can still get to Detroit for the MAC championship by winning out and getting some good luck, but sheesh. Hard to see it. We feel like a 4 or 5 win team right now.

Can still get to Detroit the day after Christmas at 6-6. In year 5 is when you win a championship. 22-39 and Bob Moosbrugger and Kit Hughes picked him. It was always bullshit. The standard was just lower because the people who hired him were bullshit too.
