oh how i know. lived there for 23 years. walking to class, you start crying (literally).
I will never forget those walks from Dunbar to the Math Science bldg my Freshman year...Seemed like a 5 mile hike...
I've done that exact walk many times this year. It's not fun, especially when you are facing the wind on those cold winter days. Luckily for us we didn't have that bad a winter this year and those days (which Svillefalcon and I refer to as TFC for too ****ing cold) were few and far between.
Having survived the winter of '78 in Kohl Hall, I'm having a lot of trouble finding any sympathy for any of you. :smt069
Was that back when there were hills both ways to and from the dorm, you had no shoes and you always had to be alert for Pteredactyl attacks?
Close....we used pteredactyls to send out and receive packages.

Glad we cleared that up. And thanks for being a good sport. An old sport, no doubt, but a good one nonetheless. :-D

Hey, did they take the crane down because of the wind? I was wondering where it went and then I noticed it laying down like a sad puppy off to the left-hand side of the screen...

My bet would be wind and a rumble or two of thunder earlier....

From what I hear, Heineman's beer distributorship was drunk dry by you and your cohorts during that blizzard.

Doesn't sound so bad :)

That was a necessity....the water pipes were frozen. :drinkers: There was also ice in the toilets and we melted snow to bathe. All in all, though, we were the lucky ones.

Does anyone know if the Sebo Center is on, ahead, or behind schedule? I bet that the construction workers are loving the nice weather we have been getting the past week and looks like they are getting alot done.

The Sebo really has me excited. So much so that I bought my first pair of season tickets for the wife and I, and I registered here today too!

Welcome aboard Falconfan1999. Great to hear that you bought season tickets for the first time. I have yet to convince the wife that season tickets to BG games would be a good investment this year while living in Lexington.

Thanks,

We both graduated about the same time, me in 99 and the wife in 00. So it's taken me a while to convince her!
