You mean if I paid $99.95 a year to scout I would not get golden information? However, those sites are not always accurate to the situation. Perfect example is Alex Gillette. He had an offer from Toledo's old coaching staff. When the new staff came in they went another direction. Our former QB coach moved to EMU as the OC there and offered Gillette. He has committed to EMU now and they list him with an offer from UT, but he really doesn't have one anymore and had no chance of signing with UT after the new staff took over.
Another example is Nate Davis himself. Toledo offered him, but our OC at the time didn't want him and wanted Aaron Opelt instead.......Woops! No wonder why he isn't our OC anymore. So anyway despite getting the UT offer, he was told on his official visit that the offer wasn't valid and we were going another direction. That's when he finally decided on Ball State, which allowed Opelt to come to UT as he was considering UT and BSU until Davis went to BSU.
The information on recruiting sites is pretty spotty at best when it comes to MAC schools.

I have a subscription, but it's through the Browns site. Their Browns site is money with a LOT of good insider information on there. They do a phenomenal job covering the team. Not all of the NFL sites are as good, but some are.Redwingtom wrote:You mean if I paid $99.95 a year to scout I would not get golden information? With the subscription you get the recruiting info as well, but at the MAC level it's not that valuable, IMO. A lot of our kids will have highlight videos on there, but highlights are only so useful. Of course Nate Davis had a highlight video and I was in love with his game the first time I watched it. That's why I remember his recruiting, I was so bummed when we basically just let him go to BSU.
